The Washington Capitals are back in DC after a long-awaited win in Dallas, and Braden Holtby is taking advantage of the homestand to enjoy some family time. After an optional practice on Sunday, Braden hit the ice with his seven-year-old son Benjamin.
The itty bitty beast sported a white Holtby jersey with the number 70. Benjamin has followed his dad’s example before by pouring water over his own head, but on Sunday, he wasn’t in the net or dousing himself with a Gatorade bottle. Instead, he skated up the ice, and almost got one in five-hole on a practice goalie dummy.

Braden, out of his pads, was lackluster on defense. He better stick to his day job.

They’re parent/child goals. We’re not kidding around. You can’t Imagine the cuteness.
