While some of us might have been a bit impatient waiting for Game Two to begin, others were okay waiting while Imagine Dragons performed during the pregame ceremony. Specifically, the children of Capitals goaltender Braden Holtby, Benjamin and Belle.
Oh look, they’re playing our hype song for us ☺ pic.twitter.com/nVZGZuuCiX

Despite her husband’s dislike of social media, Braden Holtby’s wife, Brandi, posted a video to Twitter of their two kids bustin’ some great dance moves to Imagine Dragons performing Whatever it Takes. The song, somewhat ironically, has been the Capitals’ “hype song” for the 2017-18 season, which Brandi made sure to note in her tweet. Both kids sported Holtby jerseys while the couch was covered in rally towels.
Belle also let’s out a super cute Go Caps! Go! while Benjamin waved around a mini-goalie stick with one hand and donned a baseball glove on the other.
An all around great night for the Holtby household, especially after seeing dad’s Game Two performance! You can check out the entire Imagine Dragons pregame production below.
Update: The video is from before Game Seven of the Eastern Conference Finals, but the sentiment remains!
This was before game 7 but the song has been working well for us 👌🏼#ALLCAPS https://t.co/rXCaipbthr
