Caps at Stars pregame: Squaring up with the Stars

The Washington Capitals will end their mini Western Conference road trip with a visit to the “Lone Star State” to take on a team made up of more than one Star. The Caps and Dallas Stars will wrap up their two game season set, not seeing each other again until a potential Cup final.

Puck drop is at 8 PM because we’re doing that central time thing again. I’m recapping tonight, get mildly whelmed.

Record 1-3-1 2-1-2
Shot Attempt % 47.0% 54.6%
PDO 100.1 96.8
Power Play 7.1% (27th) 20.0% (19th)
Penalty Kill 85.7% (11th) 80.0% (14th)

Vrana – Kuznetsov – Oshie
Hagelin – Eller – Panik
Leipsic – Dowd – Hathaway

Siegenthaler – Carlson
Orlov – Jensen
Gudas – Lewington
