Vince Backstrom is very excited to have his own box of Ovi O’s (if you couldn’t tell from his dancing)

During his Media Day interview on Thursday, Nicklas Backstrom was in awe of Alex Ovechkin’s latest off-ice project.

“I just think it’s so cool that he got his own cereal,” Backstrom said. “I haven’t tried it. But I asked him will you bring some, because my kids want some. So, hopefully, I’ll get it for free.”

Well, we can report that just happened.

Ovi posted a video Backstrom’s son Vince on his Instagram Story clutching a box of the coveted cereal. He jumped and danced around in glee.

I can only assume Tom did the same thing this morning.
