Washington Capitals’ Training Camp is only a few weeks away and on Tuesday, Alex Ovechkin jumped back on the ice for a skating session with his personal trainer Pavel Burlachenko.
Ovechkin wore a Dynamo Moscow jersey as he took laps around the KHL team’s training facility near Moscow.

Ovechkin wore black CCM gloves and Team Russia red, white, and blue socks.
The Great 8 spent parts of three seasons with Dynamo Moscow’s top team as a teenager back when the franchise was part of the Russian Superleague. Years later, during the 2012-13 NHL lockout, Ovechkin signed a KHL contract and suited up for Dynamo again.
This isn’t the first time Ovi has donned the royal blue jersey this summer either. He’s been captured rocking the Dynamo sweater by several fans who have tagged him in photos on Instagram.
Capitals’ Training Camp begins on September 12.
