Dmitry Orlov is currently in Moscow, preparing for next season.
The Capitals defenseman posted a video of himself in his Instagram Story working out in his home country.
The Russian blueliner is seen doing one-legged hops into the air up a hill to build his leg strength along with Devils forward Nikita Gusev and Lightning defenseman Mikhail Sergachev.
Orly was doing the workouts at a sports park in Odintsovo named after Larisa Lazutina, a famous former Russian cross-country skier who won seven Olympic medals (5 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze). Orlov’s trainer is Sergey Gvozdev who has a list of clients that also includes Evgeni Malkin and Ivan Barbashev.
Orlov invited Gvozdev to his day with the Stanley Cup last season in his hometown of Novokuznetsk.

The Capitals Russians are currently spread across the continent as Alex Ovechkin just ended an ambassador trip in China, Evgeny Kuznetsov is in Washington training at MedStar Capitals IcePlex, and Alexander Alexeyev is in California working out with his personal trainer.
Over the summer, Orlov became a father for the first time when his wife Varvara gave birth to their first child, a son they named Kiril.
