The Hershey Bears have released their schedule of giveaways and promotional nights for the 2019-20 season. The season kicks off with the Bears on home ice on October 5 as they take on their rival Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
Last season, everyone’s favorite promotional night, the Teddy Bear Toss, broke a world record and went viral, with an astounding 34,798 stuffed animals being tossed onto the ice for charity. Bears fans will have their chance to break the record again at this year’s Teddy Bear Toss, which will take place on December 1.
Bobblehead collectors, mark your calendars for March 25. Other notable giveaways include a stick flag (Nov. 10), fuzzy socks (Nov. 16), and a holiday ornament (Dec. 7).
The Bears will host four specialty jersey nights in the 2019-20 season. Last season, we saw a pretty awesome Star Wars-themed jersey. This year’s schedule features throwback jerseys on Hall of Fame Night (Dec. 15), as well as the familiar lavender jerseys on Hockey Fights Cancer Night (Nov. 16), chocolate-covered jerseys (Feb. 1), and St. Patrick’s Day jerseys (Mar. 18).
Here is the full schedule of promotions:
Individual tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday, Aug. 26 at 10 a.m.
