Washington Capitals forward TJ Oshie is participating in the American Century Celebrity Championship — a celebrity golf tournament at Lake Tahoe — again this year.
The Osh Babe was driving the ball off the tee with power, but it’s a different shot he nailed which showed how healthy he is two months away from the start of Capitals’ training camp.

Golfing in a group with Joe Pavelski and Tyler Seguin, the trio arrived at the 17th hole where there’s a basketball hoop set up. Oshie nailed a three from WAY DOWNTOWN. Dang, TJ’s a natural born scorer at any sport.
And you guys, that was not the only shot Oshie nailed on the 17th hole. He also perfectly drove the ball onto the green in his initial drive, setting himself up for an easy putt.
Oshie is three months removed from fracturing his collarbone during the Capitals’ first-round series against the Carolina Hurricanes. As Oshie looked to dig the puck out of the corner, Warren Foegele hit him from behind, sending him shoulder first into the boards. Oshie would have surgery three days later ending his season and knocking the wind out of the sails out of the Capitals’ attempt to go back-to-back.
But Oshie is already feeling much better now. He’s dropped his brace and appears to have full motion in his torso once again.
“It was a little slow there for nine weeks there where I wasn’t allowed to do anything really. But it’s good,” Oshie said to NBC Sports Washington. “I’m pretty close to being 100 percent now and should be ready to go for the start of the season.”

During his time golfing, Oshie also signed autographs and took photos with fans.
