The Boston Bruins’ new Doughnut Burgers will make your mouth water and stomach hurt at the same time

As the Boston Bruins enter the Stanley Cup Final, TD Garden has released a new menu at concession stands. The food options go from strange to stranger, but there is one item on the list that caught my eye: A DOUGHNUT BURGER.

This is a burger. Using doughnuts. As buns.

Sign me up.

The new food menu was tweeted out by NHL.com’s Dan Rosen Friday morning.

Included in these new offerings are a deep-fried Oreo sundae (yes, please), a Mac & cheese waffle bowl (okay, yup), and an “endless pastabilities stuffed baguette.”

But, honestly, I can’t get past the Doughnut Burger. Let’s break this down.

A double cheeseburger sandwiched between two glazed doughnuts with bacon, fried jalapeños, and crispy onions.

It’s beautiful.

There isn’t anything about this that I don’t like, but I think if I ate it, I will not eat again for over 12 hours.

I won’t make it to TD Garden to try this burger, but I may take a trip to Krispy Kreme and try and make this myself. Curious minds need to know.
