The Washington Capitals and Carolina Hurricanes were due to do battle once more in Game Four of this Eastern Conference first round playoff matchup. The surging, suffocating Canes blew the Caps out of Raleigh on Monday night and looked to do the same again Thursday night.
Warren Foegele stayed hot and scored again for Carolina only 17 seconds into the first period. Alex Ovechkin tied things before Teuvo Teravainen answered with a backbreaking late second period goal.
The series is now tied at two games apiece as we head back to DC for Game Five.

Going back to DC in what has to be a must win from the Caps in Game Five. The saying goes that a team is never truly in trouble in a playoffs series until they lose at home.
