Nicklas Backstrom’s kids wear custom leather jackets in support of their dad in the playoffs

The Oshie kids won’t be the only baby Caps rocking custom jackets in support of their dad during the playoffs.

Their skating-class buddies, Haley and Vince Backstrom, will be wearing painted leather jackets as they cheer on their dad at Saturday’s Game Two against the Carolina Hurricanes.

The maker of the jackets, The Denim Blonde on Instagram, shared a photo of the kids posing in their new jackets with their dad in his game-day suit.

The back of the leather jackets have their papa’s jersey number with “daddy” replacing the nameplate. Lars Eller’s daughter Sophia will be matching with the Backstrom kids.

The Cup patch on the girls’ jackets is actually the work of one of our own, RMNB’s resident artist Rachel Cohen. Rachel’s hockey-themed patches and pins are an awesome way to personalize jackets, backpacks, and tote bags–or even just to hang in your house as decoration.

The Capitals’ significant others are also wearing custom blazers and pins this postseason.
