Oh, Kuzy. The Capitals’ second-line center is eccentric in a lot of ways, including his bird walk celly, but the latest news tops them all.
Evgeny Kuznetsov’s favorite food is spaghetti, steak, parmesan, ketchup, and mayo–all stirred together.
Sophia Jurksztowicz brought us this information during an NHLPKuznetsovw with Kuznestsov and Stars’ captain Jamie Benn where she delved into little-known facts and much-loved foods.
The recipe, according to Kuzy, is “Spaghetti. Steak. No sauce. Ketchup and mayo on top, parmesan cheese.” Then Kuzy made a hand-stirring gesture accompanied by a whirling squishy sound that we want as our ringtone now. “Then that’s it.”
What even is this.
Jamie Benn spent so long thinking about the one fact Google wouldn’t know about him that he didn’t even get to the food question. His eventual answer was that he likes musicals. Especially “Hamilton,” which, he said, was was “amazing.”
Kuzy’s obscure fact was, um, “one plus one?” Thankfully, he elaborated: he’s not a fan of basic algebra; there’s a film titled “1/1” which, he says, he’s seen six times.
The preview looks good but Kuzy’s taste is pretty suspect now. Ketchup, mayo, and parmesan. We’ll take a hard pass.
