Bradley Beal does Evgeny Kuznetsov’s bird celly to celebrate Capitals’ Game One win

Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal was one of many local sports stars who attended the Capitals’ Game One win against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Beal, who has become close friends with Evgeny Kuznetsov, celebrated after the game in the best way.

He did The Bird.

The video was taken by Beal’s girlfriend, Kamiah Adams, upon exiting Capital One Arena. The caption reads “The bromance continues… good win Caps.” Beal flaps his arms up and down.

Beal has gone to several Capitals games this season. Beal witnessed Alex Ovechkin score a hat trick and one of the worst collapses in recent Capitals history as Washington fell 7-6 in overtime to the Sharks.

He’s also worn an Evgeny Kuznetsov jersey to his own Wizards games.

According to Sports Illustrated, Beal and Kuznetsov have become friends since first meeting in 2017. “Been to his house a couple of times,” Kuznetsov told Alex Prewitt. “Big fan of hockey.”

Kuznetsov registered one point on the night, a stunning, primary assist on a first-period Nicklas Backstrom power-play goal.

Beal wasn’t the only biotic creature to flap its wings inside Capital One Arena Thursday night. NBC4 Sports’ Sherree Burruss noticed three actual birds had made their way into the Capitals venue.
