As the Washington Capitals gear up and prepare for the playoffs, so too does the city of Washington DC.
For instance, this awesome new Capitals mural popped up outside of H Street Country Club, a bar and restaurant located on DC’s H St NE. The mural was commissioned by the Caps and created by artist Matt Corrado.
Instagram user @lcyorkie sent us the photo.

The mural is located at Linden Court NE, in the alleyway separating H Street Country Club and the Atlas Theater.
The mural was painted very recently. Here’s the “before” picture of the alley, courtesy of Google Maps.
We called H Street Country Club to ask about the mural and were told by an employee that the Capitals had commissioned the painting.
So if you’re in the neighborhood, check it out and don’t forget to tag us in any pics you take with the mural.

@russianmachine the mural painted on the side of H Street Country Club was done by local artist @mattcorrado. He has murals all over the city and this one was done for the Caps. Check out his website https://t.co/AIB6C3DhO5. pic.twitter.com/s2Mfk2n7iJ
