Most NHL teams now have team puppies, which are trained to become service dogs that will help with every thing ranging from help with motor impairments and Autism, to seeing-eye dogs for the visually impaired.
The Dallas Stars have turned that trend on its head, in what I’m assuming to be the most elaborate April Fools Joke to date or the best way to introduce a team pet.
Y’all, the Stars have a team cow. Yeehaw!
Only in Texas ðŸ¤

The Dallas Stars Foundation partnered with Seaton Land & Cattle Company in Fairview, and fans will have the chance to name the cow a variety of puns on famous players names: Mike Moodano, Andy Moooooog, Sergei Moobov, and Joe Mooendyk.
We've narrowed the name down to four choices. Which one is your favorite?

The cow will supposedly make its introduction Saturday for Fan Appreciation Night and drop the puck.
For Fan Appreciation Night this Saturday vs. the Wild, our team cow will be dropping the puck (and hopefully nothing else 💩)
