Carl Hagelin to miss Friday’s game due to illness, Andre Burakovsky back on third line

One more piece of late-breaking news for this busy Friday evening: the Washington Capitals have announced that Carl Hagelin will miss Friday’s game due to illness.

Missing Hagelin means Andre Burakovsky will be back on the third line.

Here are the warmup lines according to Chris Kuc:

Ovechkin – Backstrom – Wilson
Vrana – Kuznetsov – Oshie
Burakovsky – Eller – Connolly
Stephenson – Dowd – Boyd

Orlov – Niskanen
Djoos – Carlson
Orpik – Jensen

Holtby

Hagelin has five points in his last five games. Andre Burakovsky, who scored against New Jersey earlier this week, will skate with his old linemates on the third. Defender Michal Kempny will be out “indefinitely” due to his lower-body injury.
