Defenseman Madison Bowey has scored his first goal as a Detroit Red Wing. The 23-year-old was traded in a deal that brought Nick Jensen to DC, and Bowey and a second-round pick heading to Michigan.
Thursday night, wearing #74 in honor of his mentor John Carlson, Bowey scored the first goal of the Wings’ game against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Bowey’s goal was assisted by Christoffer Ehn who tapped the puck back to Bowey who was waiting at the blue line.
