It’s a new world. The Washington Capitals are visiting Bryce Harper’s new home, Philadelphia. The Flyers are probably his new favorite team too, right? Does he want to bring them a championship too? Does he think the Phillies will have a bigger parade than the Flyers ever will? Will he continue to drive me up a wall even though I have never met the man and for all I know he could be a lovely person? I don’t care much about baseball, but I can’t seem to stand Bryce. Anyway, let’s go Caps.
You have an extra half hour to get your act together. Puck drop is at 7:30PM and you still have the option to stream the game from your devices on the My Teams app. Once the game is over, Peter will recap the whole dang thing for you.
|Shot Attempt %||48.5%||49.1%|
|Power Play||17.7% (20th)||21.9% (11th)|
|Penalty Kill||77.5% (27th)||78.5% (24th)|
Isabelle at the Washington Post continues to hook us the heck UP with the lineups. This is what to expect this evening:

Hagelin – Eller – Connolly
Burakovsky – Dowd – Boyd
Kempny – Carlson
Orlov – Niskanen
Orpik – Jensen
Enjoy the sweet, sweet sounds of Carl Hagelin playing the saxophone part of “Born to Run”. RIP Clarence.

Since the Capitals are playing Philadelphia, it’s only right we mention Gritty and my new favorite twitter account. That video of Gritty streaking during the Stadium Series game against the Pittsburgh Penguins? Some utter genius took the video and decided to put different songs over the original sound. Please, indulge yourself and scroll through the account. Or you can take a look at my personal favorite, “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now” by Starship. Turn your sound on very loud to get the full effect.
