Several NHL teams were busy making moves Saturday night, less than 48 hours before the NHL trade deadline.
Ryan Dzingel and Mats Zuccarello were both involved in pre-deadline day deals.
First, the Ottawa Senators traded Ryan Dzingel and a 2019 seventh-round pick to the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for Anthony Duclair and a pair of second-round selections in 2020 and 2021.
The Columbus Blue Jackets, who have never won a postseason series, continue to load up to try and make a deep playoff run. The Blue Jackets may lose both Atermi Panarin and Sergei Bobrovsky to free agency in July and are going all in.
Friday, the Blue Jackets also landed star center Matt Duchene from Ottawa for highly touted prospect Vitaly Abramov, Swedish prospect Jonathan Davidsson, and some draft picks.

Columbus currently sits third in a clogged Metropolitan Division, which features five teams within six standings points of each other.
The New York Rangers also made a deal Saturday night, trading forward Mats Zuccarello to the Dallas Stars in exchange for multiple draft picks.
The Rangers received conditional second- and third-round selection, which can turn into first-round picks.
The conditional second-round pick becomes a first-round selection if Dallas wins two playoff rounds, while the conditional third-round pick becomes a first-round pick if Zuccarello stays in Dallas next season
Also, in a smaller deal earlier on Saturday, the Dallas Stars acquired Ben Lovejoy from the New Jersey Devils for Connor Carrick and a draft pick.
