TJ Oshie was not allowed to watch Beavis and Butthead as a child

It’s well known that Evgeny Kuznetsov has a thing for Family Feud.

But how well do Kuzy and TJ Oshie know ’80s and ’90’s sitcoms? In a new episode of the NHL’s Puck Personality, we got that answer, and in short, the Caps do pretty well.

Let’s open things up with this hilarious extended opening credits, featuring squirrels, mooses, and producers Gordon Bombay and Dean Youngblood.

The two Caps start off strong by correctly guessing Alf from the eponymous TV show and while Oshie has never watched the Pee-wee Herman Show, he correctly identifies the character.

Oshie is then handed a photo of Beevis and Butthead and notes that “this was big when I was younger and I was not allowed to watch it.”

Kuzy also accurately identifies the two characters, noting that the show “is really good,” and voices the iconic chuckle from the show.

Oshie finally stumbles when he can’t guess Zack Morris and Kelly Kapowski from Saved By the Bell, tapping his head with the picture of them while trying to remember the names.

But he quickly rallies and identifies MacGyver, while most of the other players guess a character from Top Gun.

Overall, Kuzy goes two for two and Oshie goes three for four. The clear winner is Chris Kreider, who guesses every single ’80s and ’90s character correctly.
