Alex Ovechkin and the rest of the Russian language-speaking Caps, including Evgeny Kuznetsov, Dmitry Orlov, Russian-born Czech Dmitrij Jaskin, and prospect goaltender Ilya Samsonov, rang in the new year at Mari Vanna in Washington.
There was food, there was merriment, and of course, there was music.
Ovechkin’s wife Nastya even filmed her husband scream-singing We Are The Champions at the end of the night.

To be honest, hearing Ovechkin sing this will never get old.
The party also featured Dmitry Orlov returning to the dance floor while Kuznetsov rocked the mic to rap and give a stirring karaoke performance.
Earlier in the night, Samsonov shared an excelllent photo of himself posing with Evgeny Kuznetsov and the two’s significant others.
Jaskin did the same with Kuznetsov, Orlov, and Samsonov.
