After shutting out the Senators in Ottawa a week ago, the Washington Capitals returned to the Canadian capital city to take two more points from the red clad Sens. It was a night of firsts for Caps defensemen, and the team got another stellar performance from Pheonix Copley in the cage.
Tom Wilson got the party started with his eleventh goal of the season. Tyler Lewington kept it going with his first career NHL goal. Madison Bowey joined the night of firsts with his first marker in the bigs, but Colin White got the Sens on the board moments later.
Mark Stone made it a one-goal game late in the third, but the Caps held on to win.
Caps beat Senators 3-2!
