Tom Wilson took part in his first practice with the Capitals since sustaining a concussion on Wednesday, December 5 against the Vegas Golden Knights. Wilson wore a light blue non-contact jersey as the Capitals have not yet cleared him for full contact.
Wilson will miss his third-straight game due to injury. This is the 19th game Wilson will miss since the start of the season, the greater part of which was due to suspension.

Wilson has had a major impact on the 11 games he has played so far this season, with 14 points (eight goals, six assists). He is also one of the five Capitals players (Alex Ovechkin, Nicklas Backstrom, Evgeny Kuznetsov, and John Carlson) to average over a point-per-game.
In other Capitals injury news, TJ Oshie is a game-time decision for Tuesday night’s tilt against the Detroit Red Wings at Capital One Arena. Oshie practiced in a full-contact jersey Monday after missing 10 games due to a concussion.
Reirden says Oshie “is a game time” decision.. But all signs point to being back in #Caps lineup tonight.. Tom Wilson is professing, on ice now.. Hope to have him back tomorrow.. #ALLCAPS
