TJ Oshie fully participates in practice for first time since suffering concussion

After missing over 10 games with a concussion, TJ Oshie is finally back and fully participating in practice.

Oshie was placed on the first line with Alex Ovechkin and Nicklas Backstrom, and was in the bumper spot on the Caps first power play unit. If things go well, he’ll slot into the lineup against the Red Wings Tuesday night.

While Tom Wilson and Brooks Orpik are still sidelined with injuries, it appears Andre Burakovsky has been demoted, and could likely be a healthy scratch Tuesday night after getting top-line minutes in Wilson’s absence.

Oshie’s return to the top power play should provide a boost to a unit that’s gone one for their last thirteen and three for their last twenty-four during Oshie’s absence.
