Nathan Walker brought his giant teddy bear to Teddy Bear Toss Night and tossed it himself

Everybody’s favorite Australian NHLer, Nathan Walker, went on a Costco shopping trip earlier in the week to buy a giant bear almost as big as he for the Hershey Bears’ Teddy Bear Toss Night.

He brought his bear buddy to Sunday’s game, but he didn’t just give it to someone in the crowd to throw onto the ice. After Riley Barber scored his team’s first goal of the night and the animals started raining down, Walker went back to the Bears’ locker room to fetch his furry friend and toss him onto the ice himself.

RMNB’s Cara Bahniuk was at the game and caught it all on camera.

Walker’s got one heck of an arm.

Even Ilya Samsonov was impressed.

Bye, cuddly buddy!

At Costco, Walker was the one pushing the teddy bear in a shopping cart. Tonight, the bear returned the favor and took the driver’s seat.

Walker even buckled him in. Safety first, fam.

Alex Ovechkin brought a similar bear to the Caps game to donate to the toy drive, but there was no tossing involved.

All of the stuffed animals were collected and donated to charity, so the giant teddy bear will have a good life–even if it doesn’t get any more car rides with Walks.
