RMNB’s Ian Oland will be the guest speaker at the Capitals Fan Club meeting December 2

Hey! That’s me.

This Sunday, I will be leaving the comfort and darkness of RMNB Headquarters — or as Alan May likes to call it “your mom’s basement” — to speak at the Washington Capitals Fan Club meeting.

I will speak about my personal experience watching the Capitals win the Stanley Cup, my thoughts on this year’s team, being a papa, the history and future of our site, and how we kinda sorta saved RMNB from imploding during the playoffs due to too much web traffic.

I will also be taking your questions – no matter how weird or hot take-y they are.

The event starts at 1 pm and is being held at Clyde’s Gallery Place in the Piedmont Room. It’s right beside Capital One Arena.

Last year, I did the fan club meeting for the first time and it was such a joy and an honor to do. If you’re going to the game that day, please stop by. The buffet food is amazing and the fan club deserves your support. Also, I rarely come out from my blogger mole hole so this is one of your few chances to say hi or jeer me.

Of course I took a selfie.

I will also be staying for the game afterward so if you see me in the lower bowl, I expect a high five or a fist bump. See you there!

More from the Capitals Fan Club:

The Washington Capitals Fan Club is having its monthly meeting on December 2, 2018 with the guest speaker, Ian Oland of the famed Russian Machine Never Breaks. The meeting will take place in the Piedmont Room at Clyde’s Gallery Place with doors opening at 12:45 pm and the speaker starting at 1pm. There will be an optional buffet for $22 or you may order off the regular menu.

Disclosure: The Fan Club’s meetings are open to their members & guests. If you would like to attend the meeting & are not a member, you may join at the door. Individual memberships only cost $20 and include a Caps autographed puck

Hope to see you there!
