We learned in October that Capitals forward TJ Oshie was getting the Funko POP! treatment after the hockey blog Sin Bin Vegas reported Marc-Andre Fleury was part of the Season Three release. Oshie is the third Capital to get Funko’d, joining teammates Alex Ovechkin and Braden Holtby.
The Oshie POP! figurine is currently not listed on Funko’s website yet, but the new figure can be found for sale online already, such as this eBay listing.

The Oshie figurine in the eBay listing is clean-shaven, unlike the Ovechkin and Holtby figurines, which sport thick, bushy hockey beards. The figurine does share TJ’s distinctive flow and his widow’s peak.
The Oshie figurine includes an ‘A’ on its jersey, which is an interesting detail because it’s technically wrong. Oshie was briefly an alternate captain for the Caps during the 2017-18 postseason while Nicklas Backstrom was out of the lineup with a broken finger. However, Oshie is not currently one of the Caps’ alternate captains during the 2018-19 regular season.
The ’43’ at the top of the box marks this Oshie as the 43rd player in the POP! NHL player series, not to be confused with the Caps’ #43 Tom Wilson, who, let’s be honest, also bears a passing resemblance.
