Great Country Farm has Capitals-themed pig races. The player-inspired pig names will make you snort. 🐷

Earlier this season, we covered two different corn mazes that were Capitals and Stanley Cup themed.

There’s more farm madness to add to those attractions: Great Country Farms in Bluemont, VA has a Capitals themed pig race, and everything about this is so punny we’re squealing.

Those punny names are as follows: Chandler Stephen”snout”, “Grunt” Connolly, Michal Kem”piggy”, Brooks “Pork”pik, “Evpiggy” Kuznetsov, “Boars” Eller, John Carl”swine”, Braden “Hogby,” Tom Wil”swine”, Matt Nisk”pigpen”, TJ Osh”WeeWeeWee all the way home”, and Andre “Boar”akovsky.

Great Country Farms responded to the Capitals and offered their families complimentary passes to the farm to watch their namesake piggies race.

If you’ve ever wondered what a pig race would look like, wonder no more, because there’s video of one of the races.

Great Country Farms is a 400 acre farm owned by the Zurschmeide family, and was founded in 1993. It originally started as a Community Supported Agriculture Program (CSA), which is still running to this day and delivers produce to people in Alexandria and Arlington.

If you’re interested in joining the CSA, you can register online to have fresh produce delivered to your home.

The farm is also home to Bluemont Vineyard and Dirt Farm Brewing which are up the road.

Currently, the farm is holding their annual Fall Pumpkin Harvest until October 31, which is open from 9am-5pm, and holds pig races at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm.
