Mt. Airy’s Rock Hill Orchard becomes latest local farm to debut Capitals’ Stanley Cup corn maze

Earlier this year, we covered the two different Stanley Cup corn mazes dedicated to the Caps, one at Bowles Farm and another at Greenstreet Gardens.

But three times a charm, because there is a third Capitals corn maze to run through, and this one is located in Mt. Airy, MD at Rock Hill Orchard & Woodbourne Creamery.

The Stanley Cup-themed corn fills two maze lots at 11 acres and will be open through Halloween on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 4 pm.

To make the maze, John Fendrick of Rock Hill Orchard said that it “was designed on a computer, then a tractor GPS and a zero-turn mower cut the corn when it was about two feet tall. Due to the schedule of the design process, the family selected the design after the Caps finally beat the Penguins in the second round.”

Rock Hill Orchard is also home to the Rock the Red Velvet ice cream that made the rounds on YouTube last year.

The orchard is located at 28600 Ridge Road, Mount Airy, MD 21771
