Evgeny Kuznetsov is very afraid of snakes. In a mystery box game, Biznasty teases he’s about to touch one.

The NHL has finally released video of Evgeny Kuznestov playing the “What’s in the Box?” game.

On NHL Media Day, former NHL player Paul Bissonnette (aka “Biznasty”) welcomed Kuznetsov into a room full of containers of reptiles, snakes, and other gross creepy-crawlys. Bissonnette then had Kuzy stick his hand into a box he couldn’t see into and asked him to guess what he was touching.

Biz leads players into thinking the box contains something that will bite, but in fact, the box’s contents are benign. This time around, it’s full of gummy worms. (Aka: not funny edible versions of evil snake creatures.)

Kuzy’s apprehension as Biz describes a boa constrictor is the most relatable thing ever.

The Box’s potential inhabitants included Hippo the Hairless Guinea Pig, Kaia the Bearded Dragon, and Wrapunzel the Burmese Python.

Kuzy is a damn hero for risking his beautiful hands to evil fanged monsters.

Kuznestov wasn’t fooled for long, realizing quickly that it’s not an animal.

He does guess wrong initially, saying, “Is it poop?”

Comparatively, Auston Matthews’s video was good, but still not Kuzy-quality.
