The Capitals names are finally on the Stanley Cup

Monday afternoon, The NHL announced that the names of the Capitals will be added to a new ring of the Stanley Cup.

Keeper of the Cup Phil Pritchard announced the news on Twitter.

The teams that will be removed from the Cup to make room for the Caps include the 1953-54 Detroit Red Wings and extending to the 1964-65 Montreal Canadiens.

Pictures of the new engravings and who actually was included on the Stanley Cup should be coming very soon.
