Tom Wilson spent Monday reading and drawing with preschoolers

On Monday afternoon, Capitals forward Tom Wilson payed a visit to Bright Beginnings Pre-K Center in SE Washington, a school that provides childcare to homeless families for kids ages six weeks-5 years.

While there, Wilson assisted with storytime, reading Eric Carle’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar to the kids.

Yes, there are photos.

Wilson also helped participate in an art project, where the kids at Bright Beginnings designed their own dream playground.

Adorable.

Elements from the designs the kids drew will be used to build a real-life playground with the help of the Monumental Sports & Entertainment Foundation and KaBOOM! in November.
