It’s happening, people.
Friday night, Chandler Stephenson’s mother Bev became the second Capitals mom (that we know of) to do a Cup stand. Bev follows in the footsteps of Nicklas Backstrom’s mother Catta, who went viral for performing the party trick earlier in August.
Bev achieves excellent vertical form, carefully supported by Chandler and his brother Colton.
Stephenson’s 91-year-old grandmother also drank from the Cup while at Chandler’s private party.
Granny also took a big gulp on Thursday while the family had the Cup at their home in Saskatoon.
Chandler ate mom’s bacon and eggs out of the bowl of the Stanley Cup.

And took this adorable picture together with his proud mama.
What a family.
