Six days ago, Alex Ovechkin and his wife Nastya welcomed their first child into the world. Baby Sergei, who was named after Ovi’s late brother, was born in South Florida. And he’s already being spoiled.
Thanks to Nike, Sergei’s going to have the sickest baby gear on the planet despite being less than a week old.

Nastya Ovechkina shared the adorable video to her Instagram story. Nike sent Sergei several onesies, baby socks, and tiny shoes. All that was missing in this bundle was tiny sweatpants that match his papa’s.
Nike is a longtime sponsor of Ovi, originally signing the star hockey player in September 2011.
“I can confirm that Alex has signed a long-term global partnership with Nike,” Ovechkin’s agent David Abrutyn said then. “Alex is going to be supporting all of the products that Nike makes — apparel, footwear, performance apparel, casual wear, accessories and other elements of the Nike family of products. So he will be wearing their performance product when he’s playing and practicing, when he’s training and in his lifestyle.”
The Nike bundle isn’t all that the Ovechkins have received since baby Sergei arrived. Earlier this week, the Ovechkins returned home to flowers from the Capitals organization, as well as the Caps Russians and their wives.
