Andre Burakovsky debuts short shorts during offseason workouts

While working out with personal trainer Jonas Morin this summer, Andre Burakovsky has transformed into Andre Swoleakovsky.

On Thursday, the Swedish forward continued his training and was joined in the gym by the Colorado Avalanche’s Carl Soderberg. The Burracuda got very competitive.

To try and win a friendly jumping contest, Burakovsky removed his shorts.

First, here’s Soderberg’s jump.

This is a good jump.

Next is Burakovsky, and…yes, he is definitely only wearing his spandex underwear.

This is a very fine jump.

Morin, who is not at all an over-documenter, published the videos in his Instagram Story.

While Andre is taking his training seriously, it’s good to see that he’s also keeping up his positive and playful attitude over this (wonderfully short) summer.
