On Wednesday, Capitals season-ticket holders received information on purchasing additional single game tickets for the 2018-19 season. A presale for STHs will be held on Tuesday, August 7, and starts at 10 AM. The access time will depend on how long the holder has owned their tickets.
While season-ticket holders will pay discounted prices on most games, a select number of games, including the home opener against the Boston Bruins on October 3, will only be available for purchase at list price.
Single game tickets will go on sale to the general public on August 9.

One of the great benefits of being a Capitals full-season ticket member is getting early access to additional tickets for the 2018-19 Stanley Cup banner raising ceremony held at the Capitals home opener against the Boston Bruins on Wednesday, October 3rd.
As an added benefit, the Capitals will be offering SELECT additional single game tickets at the full season-ticket member discounted price throughout the 2018-19 season. Starting at your designated time based on your loyalty level please click here and log in to your Monumental Sports Account Manager. Please note you that if you log in early you will not have access to the inventory and will need to log back in at your assigned time.
Your Season-Ticket Member Loyalty Level is:
- Hall of Fame (Planholder since date of 1994 or before) Tues., August 7 at 10:00 a.m.
- MVP (Planholder since date of 1995-2007) Tues., August 7 at 11:00 a.m.
- All-star (Planholder since date of 2008-2013) Tues., August 7 at 12:00 p.m.
- First Line (Planholder since date of 2014-2017) Tues., August 7 at 2:00 p.m.
- Rookie (Planholder since 2018) Tues., August 7 at 3:00 p.m.
- The online presale will be active until 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7.
- Following the presale, you may contact your Capitals Membership Services Manager directly for any additional ticket needs.
- Once you purchase tickets they will automatically be loaded to your Monumental Sports Account Manager for you to manage.
- For access, you will need your Monumental Sports account email and password. If you need your password for access, please click “forgot password” on the account manager log in page or contact Capitals Membership Services.
Important facts:
- This presale is online only on Tues., August 7 through 11:59 p.m. Click here to access during your designated time.
- Single game inventory is limited and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, based on availability.
- There is a two (2) ticket limit per account for the Capitals home opener on Oct. 3, 2018.
- There is an eight (8) ticket limit per game, per account for all games, not including the home opener. -Any attempts to purchase more than eight (8) tickets per game, per account will result in the cancellation of all presale purchases, and removal from any future presales.
- SELECT individual game tickets available for this presale will be offered at 2018-19 full season discounted prices. The premium games listed below will be available for purchase at the gate price:

Saturday, 04/06/2019, New York Islanders- FEES: There will be a $2.95 TicketMaster convenience fee associated with each ticket purchased through the presale.
- Due to the large number of planholders, we expect our online system to be slower than normal and that some customers will need to wait in a queue online before purchasing.
- After beginning the presale process, you will have 20 minutes to proceed to checkout or add another event to your cart. You will have 10 minutes to finalize your cart and proceed to checkout. -If you exceed these time limits, your tickets will be released and your cart will be emptied.

- The general public on-sale date for individual game tickets at the single game gate price will be Thursday, August 9, 2018 starting at 10:00 a.m.
