Alex Ovechkin’s day with the Stanley Cup has turned into a weekend rager in Moscow. And once again, Ovechkin had some close personal time with Lord Stanley’ championship trophy.
Philip Pritchard, the NHL’s Keeper of the Cup, tweeted out two photos of the Russian machine sleeping with the Stanley Cup.
First time in Washington, now in Moscow…good morning sunshine! Life is good! #StanleyCup @ovi8 @Capitals @HockeyHallFame@NHL pic.twitter.com/st5fvUoSaX

Here are the high res cuddling photos.

Ovechkin is captured snoozing in a twin bed while wearing an All-Star Game hat. The photo was taken at his family’s childhood apartment.
“I slept with the Cup a little bit, 10 seconds maybe,” Ovechkin said. “It’s the same bed and to be in that neighborhood was pretty special.”
Last month, the Great 8 also had an opportunity to sleep with the Stanley Cup in his Northern Virginia home.
Yup. Ovi is definitely living his best life right now.
