In a video posted recently to defenseman John Carlson’s Instagram stories, Gina Carlson posted video of her son Lucca, pretending to be goaltender Braden Holtby.
Lucca took his love of Holtby to the next level while celebrating with his family over the 4th of July. When given the opportunity to have his face painted, the Carlson’s oldest son had a specific request: he wanted “HOLTBY” written across his cheeks.
“Lucca’s face paint request…” Gina Carlson wrote in the caption accompanying the video. “Can you guess who his favorite hockey player is #notdaddy”
