As Wimbledon kicked off on Monday, two local tennis players showed off their love for the Caps in London.
Denis Kudla and Frances Tiafoe, both DC-area natives, did media this afternoon while wearing Stanley Cup Champion hats and District of Champions shirts.

Kudla was born in Ukraine, but moved to Northern Virginia when he was young and now resides in Arlington. Tiafoe, born in College Park, MD, is a member of the Washington Kastles — DC’s World Team Tennis franchise.
The two are participating in Wimbledon, the world’s oldest tennis tournament. It is one of four Grand Slam tournaments, along with the Australian Open, the French Open, and the US Open, but is the only one played on grass.
Kudla played in his first match today and lost in four sets. Tiafoe will hold his first match tomorrow morning.
Later in the afternoon, Kudla sent out another photo thanking the Capitals for the gear and their Stanley Cup run.
