Ahead of the Capitals Championship Parade, NBC4 gave Jakub Vrana a GoPro to document his experience. For anyone that followed Vrana’s drunken adventures from the night the Capitals won the Stanley Cup, through to the day of the parade, you can imagine why NBC4 handed over a camera.
NBC4 released the “Behind the Scenes” segment Monday, of the footage Vrana captured at the parade, and it is definitely not disappointing.

BEHIND THE SCENES: We gave @JVranaa a camera during the #Capitals championship parade. We didn't know if we'd get it back… We did and it was awesome! @nbcwashington #ALLCAPS pic.twitter.com/vRxZRwkmHf

“You guys pick the right guy,” Vrana said, to open the segment, holding the camera close to his face. “You guys pick the right guy, I’m telling you that.”
Vrana didn’t quite know how to work the GoPro, but that certainly didn’t stop him having fun. He zoomed in on a “grumpy” Michal Kempny and hummed Deep Purple’s “Smoke on the Water.”
He also dropped the GoPro.
“It’s working, it’s working,” he reassured any worried producers watching the footage in the future.
But, perhaps, the best part of the entire segment was when Vrana, clutching a Budweiser, joined the Red Rockers.
After being gifted a pom-pom, the Red Rockers attempted to teach Vrana some of their moves. He even did a Let’s Go Caps chant.
Jakub, don’t quit your day job.
