Fresh off the franchise’s first Stanley Cup and and a day after a Championship Parade, the Capitals cleaned out their lockers and met with the media one final time before heading home for the summer.
Instead of talking about what went wrong, Capitals players talked about everything that went right and realizing a dream they had as a kid.
Gone were depressing images. This year, the Caps had ALL the smiles.
