DC concert venue The Anthem shows off marquee in support of the Capitals

The Washington DC area is all-in for its hockey team and here’s another example.

Newly-built concert venue The Anthem posted a photo of its main entrance on Monday. The concert hall’s logo is red. The marquee says “We rock in ALL CAPS,” a play off the team’s hashtag this season.

In case you didn’t already know… #ALLCAPS

A Instagram user captured another side of the marquee.

Local legend and co-owner of the 9:30 Club, Seth Hurwitz, owns the venue. In the past, he’s lit up the 9:30 Club red during the postseason. Last May, I asked Hurwitz about that particular tribute.

“It’s intentional, yes,” Hurwitz said. “We are Caps fans. Isn’t everyone? People here may differ on baseball and football, but everyone in DC & Baltimore Rocks the Red.”

The Caps are now one win away from making another one of Hurwitz’s dreams come true.
