Washington Nationals stars Max Scherzer and Ryan Zimmerman were in attendance for the Capitals’ convincing Game Four win in the Stanley Cup Final on Monday. They even dressed the part, decked out in full Capitals hockey gear, as the “Fans of the Game.”
Scherzer and Zimmerman amped up the crowd ahead of the opening faceoff alongside Horn Guy, Sam Wolk, cheering, tapping their sticks, and chanting “Let’s Go Caps!”

The Nats have been vocal and visible in their support for the Capitals throughout the playoffs, and with a day off in their schedule, Scherzer and Zimmerman took that support to the next level.
They are, as the NHL’s Instagram account pointed out, fully committed to the team.
Scherzer and Zimmerman also snapped a few pictures with other fans — and media — in Capital One Arena, including their red-bearded hype partner, Horn Guy.
Alan May and Craig Laughlin also commemorated the occasion with a photo.

Alex Brandon, who is perhaps better known for being behind the camera for The Associated Press, also got in on the action.
