Both teams were down a man after a scrum in front of the Vegas net. Eller won an offensive-zone faceoff against Erik Haula, using his body for leverage and getting the puck to our favorite son, Andre Burakovsky. Burakovsky sends a gorgeous pass up high to Michal Kempny, who sends an even gorgeouser pass to Eller up front.

Eller doesn’t let the moment go to waste, recording his 6th goal of the playoffs and tying a frenzied game 1-1.

Eller skated the Caps’ hot lap before practice on Tuesday.
