On Sunday, Capitals goaltender Braden Holtby stopped an almost criminal 32 out of 33 shots in Game Two against the Pittsburgh Penguins. He even stole a goal in the third period from Patric Hornqvist. Holtby now has the second-highest save percentage in NHL postseason history, sitting just behind Tim Thomas.
Monday, Holtby was stopped by Alexandria PD Officer Frank Powers, but it’s not what you think.
APD Officer Frank Powers was patrolling #AlexandriaVA & spotted someone who is definitely WANTED-as the goalie for for Game 3 that is 😉. Thanks for the selfie @Holts170 #ALLCAPS #LetsGoCAPS pic.twitter.com/h7KJGiX08w

The Alexandria Police Department Twitter account shared a photo of Officer Powers in his cop car with Holtby. As it turns out, Holtby was just “wanted” for a selfie.
We’re pretty sure this save was still a factor.
Daylight robbery.
Braden Holtby isn’t the only one with fans in Alexandria PD. We see you guys. Thank you for all of your hard work in the community.
YES-APD PIO can't believe she forgot the best Caps blog!🤦
