The Alex Ovechkin Goodwill Tour rolled through St. Louis on Monday night and it appears several fans had a night to remember.
During warmups, aCaps fans, wearing a neon blue hockey hat, held up a Russian language sign that was immediately noticed by the Capitals. According to the team’s Twitter account, the sign read, “Throw me a stick so I can defend myself from these Blues fans!”

The kid’s face was priceless.
But I want to direct you to the person standing on the opposite side of the tunnel. This Caps fan held a poster which read Ovechkin I’m your biggest fan. Can I have your stick?
He also got an Ovi stick too.
This was a great moment. The kid in the back of the picture with the neon green sign got one as well and was incredibly overwhelmed. He had to just sit down and find Earth again before he could make it up the stairs. I gave him a fist bump and he couldn't even speak.

The Capitals posted video of the players returning to the locker room. Ovechkin was without a stick in hand.
