Jakub Vrana has scored his first goal since December 14, twenty five games ago.
And man was it pretty.

After a great defensive play by Dmitry Orlov, Evgeny Kuznetsov (with his third point of the night) threaded the puck to Vrana, alone on the Leafs’ half of the ice with Freddie Andersen.
Vrana drove to the slot, then used a quick wristshot to put the puck in the five hole.
Vrana has eleven goals on the season by the way. He had been scratched approximately 75 times in the last two months, but now he’s extended the Caps’ lead.
So this is fun.
