Vegas Golden Knights fans get engaged in first period, married during second intermission

Hockey’s version of a drive-thru wedding happened at the Golden Knights game Thursday.

During the first TV timeout, Steven, wearing a polo shirt, proposed to his girlfriend Cari. She said yes.

A little over an hour later, the Golden Knights held the couple’s marriage ceremony.

An Elvis impersonator was the officiant. As the couple said their I dos, they were joined on stage by cheerleaders, knights in shining armor, and Chance the mascot.

Only in Vegas.
