With a thin blanket of snow covering most of the northeast and mid-Atlantic, Capitals forward Evgeny Kuznetsov took the opportunity to enjoy some quality time with his two-and-a-half-year old daughter, Ecenia, and wife, Anastasiya. Kuznetsov documented the day’s events on his Instagram.
Ecenia, while posing next to a snowman she appears to have made, is quizzed by her adoring parents on her knowledge of sign language and local sports chants.
“Show me, ‘cool,'” urges Anastasiya, to which Ecenia responds with the universal thumbs-up sign.
“What else can you say,” asks Kuznetsov. “How about, ‘Let’s Go Caps!’?”
Ecenia is confident, if not entirely accurate, in her response to her father’s inquiry, chanting, “go, go, pya!” Given Kuzya’s lengthy new contract, however, Ecenia is sure to get enough practice in the years to come.
In this clip, Kuznetsov muses aloud, as Anastasiya gently coaxes their daughter up the formidable slope, “it’s unclear which of them is more scared right now. Probably mama.”
Kuznetsov, ever the jokester, geotagged this video at “The White House”. Although Melania and Donald did not make an appearance in the video, little Ecenia was overjoyed nonetheless, squealing with laughter as she and Anastasiya raced down the hillside.
