Monday morning the Capitals announced that their annual toy drive will take place on December 8th prior to their game against the New York Rangers. Fans are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to be collected outside the F Street entrance. Those who donate will receive a snazzy poster of Caps goalie Braden Holtby.

The Washington Capitals are hosting a Caps Care toy drive supported by GEICO to benefit The Salvation Army on Friday, Dec. 8, when the Capitals host the New York Rangers at Capital One Arena.
Fans are encouraged to donate new, unwrapped toys at the F Street entrance. Individuals who donate will receive a poster of Capitals goaltender Braden Holtby.
Last season Capitals and Wizards fans donated 1,500 toys and $1,600 to The Salvation Army through December toy drives.
